Composition

Each g of cream contains the standardised extracts of:
Mimosa pudica, Macaranga peltata, Pongamia pinnata, Bombax malbaricum n cream base

Indication

Helps shrink piles and reduce the itching and swelling associated with less severe piles. Also act as mild antiseptics to discourage growth of bacteria cells as well.

Dosage

Wash your hands before and after using the cream. Gently clean and dry the area around the anus. Apply cream twice a day at minimum of 3-4 hourly intervals preferably after a bowel movement. Further applications can be made at any time of the day. Maximum 4 applications in 24 hours.

Pharmacology

Mimosa pudica

M. pudica has styptic qualities to stop bleeding and therefore, considered as invaluable for bleeding hemorrhoids. A topical paste made from M. pudica leaves has been known as a hemorrhoid therapy since at least the 16th century. Additionally, M. pudica’s phenol content and antioxidant action is believed to help wounds, like bleeding hemorrhoids, heal faster. 

 

Macaranga peltata

Traditionally, M. peltata efficiently used topically on affected areas for the treatment of piles. Anti-oxidant and anti-microbial activity of M. peltata extract helped that good therapeutic agent for accelerating the wound-healing process. The increase in tensile strength of wounds treated with M. peltata extract helps to an increase in collagen concentration and stabilization of the fibers facilitating wound healing.  

 

Pongamia pinnata

P. pinnata is one of many plants with diverse medicinal properties which all its parts have been used as traditional medicine in the treatment and prevention of several kinds of ailments in many countries such as for treatment of piles, skin diseases, and wounds. Seed oil of P. pinnata has been effectively used for piles and related symptoms as the seed oil is anti-septic in nature. Seeds are widely useful in inflammation, chronic fevers, anaemia and hemorrhoids.  

 

Bombax malbaricum

B. malabaricum DC. is a traditional Chinese as well as Indian herbal medicinal plant used for the treatment of inflammatory conditions. B. malabaricum used in cystitis and catarrahal affections bleeding piles, haemorrhoids and related skin infections/disorders. The paste of bark of B. malabaricum was extensively used in for management of piles, haemorrhoids due to its proven anti-inflammatory activities.
