Our story

Ekắhetu is an young & entrepreneur initiative in the space of Natural Industry and a part of the over USD 1 billion S KANT group, one of the India’s largest diversified business houses.
We are a research and innovation driven enterprise, uniquely engaged in developing novel healthcare solutions from natural sources including plants, nutraceuticals etc. We follow stringent norms for standardisation, validation and product development ensuring world class quality and consistent performance; thus applying the rigors of modern science to the goodness of nature origin products.
We plans to leverage India’s biodiversity and vast pool of knowledge in traditional medicinal systems such as Ayurveda as a source of new medications. The division has a unique and diverse collections ancient wisdom through various age-old texts as well as practitioners with more than 7 decades of clinical experience.
Our discovery and development process includes evaluation and investigation of plant extracts/preparations for the therapeutic potential and safety, standardization and validation of promising candidates into commercial scales bio-actives, formulation development and clinical trials. The process results in standardised, evidence based Nature origin products that are at par with pharma products in terms of consistent performance and quality yet preserve the holistic properties of natural products.
We hope to address unmet medical need with Nature origin products by applying modern science and clinical validation techniques.
We plan to be vertically integrated division with the capability to develop new products from discovery through clinical development and launch worldwide through established distribution network. At the same time, the management is open for partnerships that can accelerate the commercialisation & world-wide availability of Ekắhetu’s range of “Nature Origin Products”.

Managing Director

He has 40+ years’ experience in managing pharmaceutical business and industry. He serves as a director in S. Kant Chemicals Private Limited; and Sevantilal Kantilal Pvt. Ltd. He is an office bearer in the following organizations: Hon. General Secretary in Indian Drug Manufacturers Association; Indo-lran Chamber of Commerce & Industry; and North Gujarat Education Society.

Samir Shah

Director

He is third generation entrepreneur and has over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical sector. He serves as a director in S. Kant Healthcare Ltd and also in Pragati Pharma Ltd, Eskay Iodine Private Ltd. and Skites Pharma Private Ltd.

Harshit Shah

Director

He has 8+ years’ experience in managing pharmaceutical business across formulation and API industries. He serves as a director in S. Kant Healthcare Ltd. He is Bachelor in Chemical Engineering as well as Masters in Global Management and has keen interest in management of development of innovative pharma products through Innovation processes.

Dr. Ashish C. Suthar

CEO

22+ years’ experience in Natural Health industry with super-rich experience in management of International business, Operation, SCM and Research & Development activities. Responsible for in building and managing the growth of brands of “Nature Origin Products” in International markets. Academic qualifications are Ph.D from Mumbai University and MBA from SP Jain School of Global Management.
